Rain, Trees & Roads

Hello, SLE. With the rain and wind, please use caution on our roads. Drive slowly and keep an eye out for trees as they are coming down around the whole region causing hazards in our roadways and elsewhere.

We’ve had reports of some smaller trees down on CDA Drive about a 1/4 mile before the Priest River intersection (if entering from Highway 54) as well as on Blanchard Circle near Hayden.

If you are home, please if you can, check along the roads lining your property (and that of your neighbors if you know they can’t), to see if any trees are blocking the roads. If you can do so safely, please remove them or let us know if you need help.

If trees are impeding any power lines (even though power is being moved underground), KEC should still be called at (208) 765-1200.
